Honours projects

For Physics or Astronomy students in their final year of the M.Sci or B.Sc courses we typically offer several research projects, covering various aspects of the group's work. These are allocated at the project fair each year, but students are welcome to discuss them beforehand with group staff members

Summer projects

We usually have several students over the summer period doing research projects. Like the honours projects, these can involve any aspect of our research. Projects typically last for eight weeks (full time, paid), but can be longer or shorter depending on circumstances. Students from both Glasgow and other institutions are all welcome. If you are interested in a summer project please contact us to discuss potential areas of interest.
