Ilya.Starshynov@glasgow.ac.uk BIOGRAPHYIn 2002-2007 I did my Masters's degree with a major in Radiophysics and Electronics at the Donetsk National University, Ukraine. From 2007 to 2014 I worked as a Research Assistant at the same University at the Department of Physics of Magnetic Phenomena and High-Temperature Superconductivity. I worked on various aspects of ion beam sputtering and ion-photon emission spectroscopy. In 2014 I moved to the University of Exeter, UK where I stayed until 2018 working on my Ph.D., the topic of which was "Quantum and classical correlations of multiply scattered light". After finishing it I moved to the University of Glasgow, UK where I work currently. My main areas of research interest are scattering of light in disordered structures, imaging through turbid media, and machine learning signal processing.
