I graduated from The University of Glasgow in June 2001 with a 1st class MSci (hons) degree in Mathematics and Physics. I am currently undertaking postgraduate research into Electromagnetic Signatures. This research is funded by a PPARC Case award with BAE Systems.
My research interests involve studying the electromagnetic signatures of marine vessels with the purpose of devising a method of minimizing such signatures.
My Publications and Papers:
A study of corrosion related electromagnetic signatures of marine vessels using a BEM.
PDF PSModelling the Corrosion Related EM Signatures of Ships.
PDF PSSlides from presentation at Marelec 2004 - Modelling the Corrosion Related EM Signatures of Ships.
PDF PSSlides from presentation at BEM26, Bologna 2004 - Investigating the EM signatures of ships due to corrosion and its countermeasures.
PDF PSAlso some photos from the conference
BEM26 - PhotosSlides from final year presentation, 28th April, 2004 - Investigating the EM signatures of ships due to corrosion and its countermeasures.
PDF PSMy final thesis - 'Investigations of the Magnetic Fields from Ships due to Corrosion and its Countermeasures'.
