The JIF lab is a Facility for the Development of Advanced Gravitational Wave Detectors at the Institute of Gravitational Research at the University of Glasgow.

The intermediate and test masses of the triple pendulums can be seen below. Currently the final stages are made from
Aluminium masses suspended from steel wires with a mirror inserted in the lower central hole.
