Advanced LIGO

The IGR is currently collaborating on the Advanced LIGO Project - an advanced interferometric gravitational wave detector based at two sites in the USA. The LIGO Project is itself a collaboration between California Institute of Technology (CIT/Caltech) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with Detector Sites in Hanford, WA and Livingston, Lousiana. For more information about this project please go to the Advanced LIGO Project webpage. For more information about Glasgow's input on this project go to the IGR Advanced LIGO webpage

The items below are a selection of pictures and documents on work that I have been involved in for the Advanced LIGO Project. Items posted are generally those useful to myself or other suspension members during discussions or meetings.
