Graeme’s Research
Being now gainfully employed in Grid Computing, I’m rather interested in this as a research topic. In particular my interests are in:

  2. •Grid Storage Systems
  3. •File Transfer Performance and Optimisations
  4. •Distributed Data Management in Grids
 
I am a member of the ATLAS collaboration. I am an ATLAS Distributed Computing Expert on Call and I help run ATLAS production in the UK cloud. I have general interests in ATLAS offline computing and in minimum bias physics analysis.
  
In my previous life as a plasma and solar physicist I was involved in studying:
 
  1. •Non-linear waves in electron-positron plasmas
  2. •MHD modeling of the Solar Corona
  3. •Origin and generation of the Solar Wind
