Simulations

Monte Carlo simulations

Reaction simulations of some of the channels proposed to be measured at Mainz with the crystal ball detector. The simulations assume isotropic angular distributions in the relevant centre of mass frames of decaying particles. The results are to give a guide as to where charged particles go and with what energies to help assess the requirements of tracking/veto systems. Obviously the strength in different regions of the phase space may be modified when the correct angular distributions are included. All energies refer to total energies (ie. including rest mass)

Simulation of the reaction g+p-->K+Lo-->K+pp-

The reaction g+p-->K+Lo-->K+npo will have similar kinematics to the K+pp- reaction.

Simulation of the reaction g+p-->KoS+-->ppop+p-

The reaction g+p-->KoS+-->ppopopo will have similar kinematics to the ppop+p- reaction.

Simulation of the reaction g+p-->D1+-->D2+g-->ppo

Simulation of the reaction g+p-->D1+-->D2+g-->ppo for Eg=350 and 450 MeV with cuts on CM energy of decay photon.
