I am a Ph.D student in the Theoretical Particle Physics group here in Glasgow. I began my Ph.D in 2001 after completing my undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics at the University of Glasgow.
I am working with Mark Alford on the phenomenon known as Colour Superconductivity. Matter is crushed to extremely high densities in the cores of compact (neutron) stars. It is under these conditions that matter may exists in what known as a colour superconducting state.
