National Stress Awareness Day: Coffee and Chat

WHEN: November 4, 2020

WHERE: Reading Room (255), Kelvin Building

WHAT: Come anytime for a cup of coffee/tea, a cake and a chat

DETAILS: As part of our regular mental health awareness events in the School, the Social Committee are organising our flagship coffee morning. Everybody should feel free to drop in whenever they can, to have a chat with colleagues and perhaps the chance to share some thoughts and experiences on the stresses of University life, to take a look at some leaflets and guides as part of the campaign, or just to grab a little time to "de-stress" amidst a busy morning.

We all know that academia can be a stressful place to work – so let’s have a coffee and talk about anything but work! National Stress Awareness Day is an annual, national campaign by Mind, see their website for more information.

Materials relating to mental health will be available for you to take away with you.

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided by the School.
