Mental Health Awareness Week: Coffee and Chat

WHEN: 10am-12pm, Tuesday May 19th, 2020

WHERE: Reading Room (255), Kelvin Building

WHAT: Come anytime for a cup of coffee/tea, a cake and a chat

DETAILS: As part of our regular mental health awareness events in the School, the Social Committee are organising our flagship coffee morning. Everybody should feel free to drop in whenever they can, to have a chat with colleagues and perhaps the chance to share some thoughts and experiences on the stresses of University life, to take a look at some leaflets and guides as part of the campaign, or just to grab a little time to "de-stress" amidst a busy morning.

Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual and national campaign organised by the Mental Health Foundation. This year’s theme is ‘sleep’ and, whilst the coffee morning is not structured, we hope it will raise awareness and provide people a safe place to come and chat about how sleep – or the lack of it – effect our mental health. See this website for more information.

Materials relating to mental health will be available for you to take away with you.

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided by the School.
