The HPQCD Collaboration is an international collaboration focussed on achieving high-precision results for a wide range of lattice quantum chromodynamics (QCD) calculations, with an emphasis on systems containing heavy quarks. The goal of the collaboration is to reduce statistical and systematic errors on hadron masses and matrix elements to less than a few percent. These calculations are of vital importance to the determination of the fundamental parameters of the Standard Model (coupling constant, quark masses and CKM matrix elements). The collaboration currently involves groups of senior lattice theorists, postdocs, and graduate students, from the UK (Cambridge, Glasgow, Plymouth), the US (Cornell, Ohio State), Italy (Rome), Japan(KEK) and Spain (Zaragoza).
